My sister and I went to the exhibition in London as did the rest of the school. Miss Butler, our Head Mistress, told us it would be the only time in our lives we would see Tutankhamun's treasures. If my memory serves, I think it was £2 to go? I remember queuing outside the museum for hours and holding Sandra's hand because I was scared, especially by the gold mask. We bought stacks of postcards of the treasures, not sure what happened to those.
