Picture shows King George V's diamond Star of the Royal Victoria Order; Queen Victoria's Star of the Royal Victorian Order and Royal Victoria Chain. The three items form part of a unique display of royal insignia which is due to go on show for the first time tomorrow (Sat) at Windsor Castle. The insignia - badges, stars, collars and medals - have been collected over the centuries by successive British Kings and Queens. The collection comprises a wide and varying range of styles and forms from around the world, and many of them are beautiful pieces of jewellery in their own right. See PA story ROYAL Insignia. PA.
