I remember living in Bonnethill Court, and watching the queen open the bridge.
My older sister and me were sitting on our kitchen counter, and watching it on the tv too.

I was asked by Fraser Elder {Fraz), at very short notice, to print car stickers of his own design, "I've Crossed the Tay Road Bridge". They were delivered to him as the bridge was about to be opened!
There was a fun day for the bridge's 40th (?) anniversary, and I handed out hundreds of surplus postcards of the defunct Fifies, free of charge, to delighted Dundonians and visitors.
