I remember the cheeses being cut with a cheese wire

I remember being so jealous when a school friend worked there and made the butter pats from a great lump of butter.

I remember thinking the girls who made the butter pats were so clever. and I wanted also to sit on the high chairs but they always semed to have old ladies sitting on them !
