I didn't get to see them when they visited Leeds, but the following summer of '64 my Mother, Evelyn Dellar bought me and my friend Susan Jowett tickets to see them on our summer holiday in Blackpool! I will never forget the deafening screaming and the amazing feeling or euphoria when these four guys came onstage - ELECTRIC! almost 50 years later I have just returned from visiting Liverpool and th Cavern Club - great weekend :)

I saw them in 63 n Blackpool, I lived there, they stayed at The Imperial Hotel, On the promanade I lived just behind the hotel and the thoughts of them being across the road from me was almost too much to bare
