Motoring - M1 Congestion - Northampton 1965

Traffic backs up on the M1 motorway as commuters heading for London reach roadworks at the Northampton junction. It was estimated that the queue of vehicles stretched for about 10 miles. A number of motorists who had been crawling for miles were forced to pull over on to the hard shoulder to allow their over-heated engines to cool

Once had to stop my Metro from overheating by pouring a couple of cans of Fosters in the rad due to the rad leaking.
