Machynlleth, Pen-y-Bont 1901

This town, known to its inhabitants as 'Mach', is situated at the far north west corner of Powys, so far that it is also in the Snowdonia National Park and 10 miles from the sea. The photograph shows the crossing into 'Mach' over the River Dyfi, or in English 'Dovey'.
