I remember producer Biddy Baxter - having had a rush of blood to the head, no doubt - invited the damn elephant onto the studio set at Television Centre, where it ran amok. It wrecked the studio, leaving little 'messages' - and a huge pool of water - on the studio floor, escaped its keeper, then charged at John Noakes! Hilarious! John was hopping across the screen on one foot, yelling 'An elephant's trod on me foot'. He hopped right into a pile of elephant droppings. I nearly died laughing.
