I don't know the people on the other photograph and there is no note on the back.
This photograph shows my Grandfather John Russell who was an engineer at the factory near the abbey. A note on the back says what looks like (but may not be as it is hard to deciper): Antonio Canale. It is dated 12, 7, 1938.
