I used to climb over the Hyde Grammar school back wall & railings, no mean feat, to wag off from the late afternoon library period, with Bob Turner. We used to go down, swing on the rope over the stream in Hyde Park & then walk through past the bandstand & tennis courts on our way out to the bus station.

I used to go into Hyde park with my friends and sometimes boyfriends, after been to st stephens church, on sundays. about the year 1961-1963. earlier went to swings, and walk with grandma into rose garden , and she bought me an icecream.
