Godfrey 'Tiny' Bertleson, aged 39, from Belper, Derbyshire, tucks into a plate of hot dogs during an eating contest at the Trocadero Centre, central London. His personal best for hot dog eating is eight jumbo-sized versions in five minutes. * The contest, which was won by 61-year-old Peter Dowdeswell, from Northampton, coincides with the launch of hot dogs by the restaurant chain Wimpy and was overseen by the New York-based International Federation of Competitive Eating.
