A traditional pub-based game featuring a soggy dishcloth being flung about the place being hurled at a ring of 'players' as they dance around, by an opposing non-dancing team. The 'dwile' being the dishcloth and the 'flonking' being the throwing! The event is held each year outside The Lewes Arms in Sussex and has been going since the 1960s. Points are awarded according to body parts hit by the dwile, and drinking fines may also be levied. The winning team is the one with the most points at the end of the game, though not necessarily the most sober!
