Another school favourite, the title of this book has seeped into our psyche and become part of our everyday language. Who hasn't said, "that's a bit of a Catch-22, isn't it!"? We certainly have. But would we have been doing the same if the original title had stuck? Heller was going to title it "Catch-18".
