We had our caravan on this site in the 1960's I remember it well.

We lived in Sewerby Road and I used to walk to the beach and sea front past the caravan park. I also used to walk past there when I went to my piano lesson with Mrs Whittaker who had a house near eigth avenue,

My grandmother had a cabin and then later on a caravan on Limekiln Lane Camp, and this is the address on my birth certificate as my mother was on holiday there when I was born in Bridlington at the Avenue hospital. This is where we had our annual holidays during the 1950s.

I used to catch newts here before the caravans arrived. We lived on Nightingale Road.
